Democrats are serving the Town of Kinderhook on the Town Board as well as through committee appointments. Kinderhook Town Council Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30. They take place at the Martin H. Glynn Municipal Building, 3211 Church Street, Valatie, New York.

Jessie Anderson won a seat on the Kinderhook Town Council on November 4, 2025, and was sworn in on January 5, 2026.
Also in November, John Ruchel Jr. was re-elected Kinderhook Highway Superintendent. He has served in this position since 2005.
